Dawn McGee

Bio

Based in Missoula, Montana, Dawn McGee is the President of the High Stakes Foundation, where she stewards the grantmaking team in advancing sustainability, equity, and resilience across rural Montana. She also leads Goodworks Development Group, creating housing rooted in community values.

Beyond her work in  philanthropy, Dawn is a founding member of BIGSKYLIGHT, a musical ensemble blending handpan, strings, and upright bass into meditative soundscapes inspired by Montana’s natural rhythms.

Her work bridges capital and creativity—always with a commitment to justice, connection, and building a more inclusive future.
